Ana Maria Fernandes, EDP Renováveis’ CEO and MBA alumni was the winner of the “EWMD Female Leadership Award”, which awards the best Portuguese business woman of the year.

Ana Maria Fernandes performance at the organizations where she worked was the key factor for the award nomination.

The EWMD (European Women’s Management Development International Network) is a non-profit international organization that aims to:

• contribute for a more equal gender society
• motivate the active participations of women in business
• motivate flexible models of balance between professional and personal affairs.

This award was delivered during the “EWMD – Leadership in the 21st Century”conference.
